Laura needed a green design partnership

Ecoescape_CollectionIt began on a weekend break in Lincolnshire. A year of research, writing, and restless nights to create an eco-friendly travel guide for the UK.

We were approached by social entrepreneur, Laura Burgess, shortly after her weekend in Lincolnshire. She was seeking a design partner who shared her passion for environmentally responsible practices, for the outside world, and for beautiful experiences.

We knew immediately it would be a challenge. How would it look? Could we make people pick it up, keep it, pass it on? Could our inks be environmentally friendly? Could we print it on paper from a sustainable source?…

We sourced a co-operative printers, with sound environmental policies who ensured minimal paper waste. From inception through to launch, ecoescape was as carbon neutral as possible – we even hopped onto our bikes to help with distribution.

We’re honoured to have worked with such a determined individual, and we’re proud of what we’ve helped to achieve.

“eskimo* rose to the challenge of ecoescape’s responsible life cycle – ensuring that its social and environmental impact was minimal. What’s more, their creative ideas and design skills have a real edge which few agencies can achieve.”

We’d love to do the same for you…
