Making a big impact
The poster above was part of a big budget, awareness raising campaign that I designed for St Luke’s shortly after the unveiling of its new visual identity. St Luke’s wanted to challenge the common misconceptions about it’s purpose. Many believed that St Luke’s was a place where people went to die, but St Luke’s is about improving quality of life and supporting patients and their families in making the most of whatever time is left. Wendy (pictured above) was one of St Luke’s patients and spent a decade of her life living with cancer. It was her positive approach to life with a terminal illness that made her perfect for this campaign, as well as her message on the posters: “I’m still here. Still Nannan. Still Wendy.”
The campaign collateral included tram stop and billboard posters at prominent locations all over Sheffield.
