Sat in a lodge in pleasant Lincolnshire, Laura Burgess had a big massive idea to
write a book. She wanted to make people think about how their nice holidays and mini-breaks actually hurt the planet. She didn’t want anyone to stop doing nice things. But maybe do things a little differently.
She chose eskimo* as her design partner. Because we think the same about riding your bike to work and recycling and important stuff like that.

So we thought long and hard, and came up with ideas that Laura liked.
We thought of printing the book on environmentally-friendly paper.
Using inks that were good too. And even making the book so lovely that people wouldn’t want to throw it away. They’d pass it on to their friends and family.
It’s been quite a success. Even the travel bloke from the Guardian liked it.
Have a look at ecoescape.org for some more info.
