"Eskimo*
designed and created our season guide “The X” which outlines
the breadth and scope of our work over Autumn & Winter 2007/08.
This resulted in a beautifully constructed and creative publication
that spanned over sixty eight pages and not only outlined artistic programme,
but covered a wealth of additional content from features on artists
we are working with to identifying our partner organisations and much
more, all in an informative and stylish format.
Before
employing Eskimo* - We met with seven other design agencies and Eskimo*
outshone the rest with their preparation, keenness, and commitment.
Throughout
this whole process we had a very personal relationship with the team
at Eskimo*, who really adapted to the culture and structure of The New
Art Exchange, which can be challenging at times. We stayed in constant
contact with them as they project managed “The X”, and spoke
to them on a daily basis, and when it came to the crunch even over the
weekend! Eskimo*’s approach was always professional with a complimentary
dash of good humour. Their good working practice meant we were really
involved in the design process of our season guide and this helped to
make sure that we were getting the product we wanted. The
finished seasons guide looks and feels fantastic, and most importantly
exceeds our expectations; and being a creative organisation that is
no mean task. Since getting the guide out to our audience we have had
nothing but positive feedback, this has come from all directions: -
from our funders to the artists we work with to the educational establishments
in the area. “The
X” is the first publication of its type for The New Art Exchange
so it was very important that we got it right and Eskimo* achieved this
for us; we can not thank them enough. The team at The New Art Exchange
all think very highly of the Eskimo* experience, and we will be sure
to work with them again in the future." |
