Iain Finlay’s debut short film,
Number 54, had catapulted him into the film industry. He was frankly
becoming quite big, so he needed an identity so that the important film
people like Warner Brothers and Vertigo would take him seriously.
We worked our socks off on this one. And eventually, we managed to blend
Iain’s classic film-making roots with hints towards the digital
age.
He was ever so chuffed.

Above:
A very chuffed looking Mr Finlay, observing the potential.
Below: The headed paper also doubles as a DVD inlay for showreels, clever
in it.

The best is yet to come, we are talking with Mr F about creating IF
idents.
We are thinking something in Super8, moving identities with sound should
be fun.
